7/12/12 Second Location Opening in Red Bluff We have already packed out our new second location in Red Bluff (although there is always room for more) in anticipation of our Grand Opening July 20. Thank you to all our new Red Bluff consignors! More are always welcome. We have transferred many items from our Redding location, giving more space there, and these items can always be transferred back at a customer’s request.
7/12/12 New Furniture Store in Redding Consigns Two Warehouses One of our consignors, a new furniture store in Redding, asked us to clear out 2 of their warehouses. We picked up at least 14 loads of department store returns and closeouts (photos above show some items)! These beautiful “new” pieces filled much of our Red Bluff showroom plus our “tire shop” processing area (an additional 5,000 square feet)! We are still evaluating boxes upon boxes to see what goes with what. As soon as we can process and price them, we will be adding them to our website. 3/21/12 Online Auction Running! We are finally starting our online auctions, with plans to coordinate them with future live auctions. We intend to conduct weekly online auctions starting each Wednesday and ending each Sunday evening. Preview and bid on hundreds of items, all with no reserve. Come in and browse auction items clearly marked in the store as well. This first auction ends Sunday, March 25, 6-8 p.m. Have fun!

1/30/12 “Are all the items on your website in your store?” A customer called today asking this interesting question. At any given time, we have about 3,000 items on our website. The vast majority are available in our store, especially because we make an effort to update our inventory and sync our website daily. However, there are a few exceptions: 1) Items which just sold since our latest website sync, 2) Items in the “Coming Soon” category, 3) New items available through special order, such as some of those shown in our “Destination: Amazing Finds, Redding” video on our home page, 3) Some high value items which consignors have elected to keep off-site for security purposes (description indicates available by special request), and 4) Some accent photos shown within text, which may highlight past items which are no longer available.

12/15/11 Attention Auction Pre-registrants – 12/15 auction The number of pre-registrants generally interested in auctions is close to 30. Therefore this may be the auction which actually gets underway. With each of our other auctions, we were ready to start at the time, but only a handful of people showed up. Please pre-register if you plan to attend, so we can give definite confirmation to all our pre-registrants that a crowd is expected. Thanks to all our faithful supporters who have shown up and encouraged us to keep trying. Please note that the “online” component of the auction is on hold until we get enough pre-registrants specifically interested in it. In the meantime, we welcome you to participate via absentee bid, if you are not able to make it in person.

We regret the inconveniences with our website not reflecting our current stock. Please check on availability before purchasing – and come in to see what’s new. However, due to the holiday, we were unable to get our technical syncing issues resolved. Therefore recent consignments, as well as items recently purchased, are not showing. We have “SOS” emails sent in to technical support and hope to resolve the situation shortly.

11/11/11 Your input needed! Building Owner forcing the color brown Some rumors are going around that we might be closing, but WE ARE OPEN! Our signs have come down while our building is being painted. But we are having a battle with the owner regarding choice of colors. The owner of the building is forcibly painting our building dark brown, which is not “Amazing.” We are supposed to be fun and colorful! Please respond with your opinion on what color our building should be. Your input could persuade the owner to change his mind.
11/11/11 Auctions First and Third Thursday of Each Month Auctions are scheduled on a regular basis the first and third Thursday of each month. However, confirmation of each date is based on 30 pre-registrants for that date. The items to be auctioned are also for sale outside the auction at “Buy It Now” prices. These items are different from the rest of our inventory and usual consignments.

10/16/11 Parking Lot Sale We held a series of weekend sales recently trying to eliminate about 10,000 s.f. of storage. These items from private parties and estates are different from our regular type of inventory. Prices are very reasonable. We are working hard to set up our 10,000 s.f. basement to hold weekend sales of this type even in bad weather. Please check back for announcements of similar sales in the future.
5/30/11 New location at 3551 S. Market St., Redding, CA 96001 We have moved to a much larger, more visible location closer to the heart of Redding. This 11,000 square foot building historically housed McMahan’s Furniture as well as Furniture Warehouse and Mattress. Plans are now in the works to paint our exterior, after which time we would like to invite you to our Grand Opening (date to be announced). Meanwhile, business is booming.
5/21/11 Now Featuring Reed Construction Co. Reed Construction Co. has placed a large consignment of a variety of hand crafted burl wood tables. When shopping, look for their business card attached to their pieces and enjoy their excellent craftsmanship. You can also query “405” to see their items on this site as soon as they are posted. Because of our move and huge simultaneous influx of new consignments, we are behind in adding all this new inventory online, but it is coming to the web store soon. Below photos show a few of their pieces.

2/1/11 Expansion Since beginning over two years ago, we have expanded four times. Thanks to our numerous loyal consignors, new inventory comes in daily, and we are again bursting at the seams. As a result, please understand we are so full we have to stack items on top of each other. We are a warehouse, not a showroom, but we will do our best to make the environment as nice as possible for you and get things down for you.
2/1/11 Upgrades in progress Exciting changes are in the works as we are in the process of upgrading our computer system to better serve our customers and consignors. Please be patient as we are working on our inventory tracking system, pricing, checkout system, and website. Because of this concentrated effort on improvements, please bear in mind that there may be some errors in our website. Much new inventory has recently come in, and we are a little behind schedule, but be assured that our website will be in sync soon.

2/1/11 Introducing our new “Self-serve Kiosk” You now can access a “Self-Serve Kiosk” by our front desk to help you independently and quickly find what you are looking for and even bypass our cashier’s desk by using this “self checkout” system.

2/1/11 Twice per month consignment pay We have also changed our consignment pay policy to batch payments on the 15th (for the previous month days 1-15) and end of each month (for the previous month days 16 to the end). Checks will be available for pickup in the shop for generally 10 days, after which time they will be mailed if not already picked up. See the “Consignment” section for consignor numbers with checks currently available. Please be patient with us as we implement these very important changes.

10/16/11 Parking Lot Sale We held a series of weekend sales recently trying to eliminate about 10,000 s.f. of storage. These items from private parties and estates are different from our regular type of inventory. Prices are very reasonable. We are working hard to set up our 10,000 s.f. basement to hold weekend sales of this type even in bad weather. Please check back for announcements of similar sales in the future.
5/30/11 New location at 3551 S. Market St., Redding, CA 96001 We have moved to a much larger, more visible location closer to the heart of Redding. This 11,000 square foot building historically housed McMahan’s Furniture as well as Furniture Warehouse and Mattress. Plans are now in the works to paint our exterior, after which time we would like to invite you to our Grand Opening (date to be announced). Meanwhile, business is booming.
5/21/11 Now Featuring Reed Construction Co. Reed Construction Co. has placed a large consignment of a variety of hand crafted burl wood tables. When shopping, look for their business card attached to their pieces and enjoy their excellent craftsmanship. You can also query “405” to see their items on this site as soon as they are posted. Because of our move and huge simultaneous influx of new consignments, we are behind in adding all this new inventory online, but it is coming to the web store soon. Below photos show a few of their pieces.

2/1/11 Expansion Since beginning over two years ago, we have expanded four times. Thanks to our numerous loyal consignors, new inventory comes in daily, and we are again bursting at the seams. As a result, please understand we are so full we have to stack items on top of each other. We are a warehouse, not a showroom, but we will do our best to make the environment as nice as possible for you and get things down for you.
2/1/11 Upgrades in progress Exciting changes are in the works as we are in the process of upgrading our computer system to better serve our customers and consignors. Please be patient as we are working on our inventory tracking system, pricing, checkout system, and website. Because of this concentrated effort on improvements, please bear in mind that there may be some errors in our website. Much new inventory has recently come in, and we are a little behind schedule, but be assured that our website will be in sync soon.
2/1/11 Consignment Tracking System To our consignors, you should have received an email from us notifying you of our efforts to go “high tech” and improve our inventory software system, while integrating it with a new, even more extensive website, where we hope to post most of our inventory, even small items, to give our customers more choices online.
2/1/11 Introducing our new “Self-serve Kiosk” You now can access a “Self-Serve Kiosk” by our front desk to help you independently and quickly find what you are looking for and even bypass our cashier’s desk by using this “self checkout” system.

2/1/11 Twice per month consignment pay We have also changed our consignment pay policy to batch payments on the 15th (for the previous month days 1-15) and end of each month (for the previous month days 16 to the end). Checks will be available for pickup in the shop for generally 10 days, after which time they will be mailed if not already picked up. See the “Consignment” section for consignor numbers with checks currently available. Please be patient with us as we implement these very important changes.

7/12/12 Second Location Opening in Red Bluff We have already packed out our new second location in Red Bluff (although there is always room for more) in anticipation of our Grand Opening July 20. Thank you to all our new Red Bluff consignors! More are always welcome. We have transferred many items from our Redding location, giving more space there, and these items can always be transferred back at a customer’s request.
7/12/12 New Furniture Store in Redding Consigns Two Warehouses One of our consignors, a new furniture store in Redding, asked us to clear out 2 of their warehouses. We picked up at least 14 loads of department store returns and closeouts (photos above show some items)! These beautiful “new” pieces filled much of our Red Bluff showroom plus our “tire shop” processing area (an additional 5,000 square feet)! We are still evaluating boxes upon boxes to see what goes with what. As soon as we can process and price them, we will be adding them to our website. 3/21/12 Online Auction Running! We are finally starting our online auctions, with plans to coordinate them with future live auctions. We intend to conduct weekly online auctions starting each Wednesday and ending each Sunday evening. Preview and bid on hundreds of items, all with no reserve. Therefore this may be the auction which actually gets underway. With each of our other auctions, we were ready to start at the time, but only a handful of people showed up. Please pre-register if you plan to attend, so we can give definite confirmation to all our pre-registrants that a crowd is expected. Thanks to all our faithful supporters who have shown up and encouraged us to keep trying. Please note that the “online” component of the auction is on hold until we get enough pre-registrants specifically interested in it. In the meantime, we welcome you to participate via absentee bid, if you are not able to make it in person.

11/11/11 Your input needed! Building Owner forcing the color brown Some rumors are going around that we might be closing, but WE ARE OPEN! Our signs have come down while our building is being painted. But we are having a battle with the owner regarding choice of colors. The owner of the building is forcibly painting our building dark brown, which is not “Amazing.” We are supposed to be fun and colorful! Please respond with your opinion on what color our building should be. Your input could persuade the owner to change his mind.

Our signs have come down while our building is being painted. But we are having a battle with the owner regarding choice of colors. The owner of the building is forcibly painting our building dark brown, which is not “Amazing.” We are supposed to be fun and colorful! Please respond with your opinion on what color our building should be. Your input could persuade the owner to change his mind.

10/16/11 Parking Lot Sale We held a series of weekend sales recently trying to eliminate about 10,000 s.f. of storage. These items from private parties and estates are different from our regular type of inventory. Prices are very reasonable. We are working hard to set up our 10,000 s.f. basement to hold weekend sales of this type even in bad weather. Please check back for announcements of similar sales in the future.
5/30/11 New location at 3551 S. Market St., Redding, CA 96001 We have moved to a much larger, more visible location closer to the heart of Redding. This 11,000 square foot building historically housed McMahan’s Furniture as well as Furniture Warehouse and Mattress. Plans are now in the works to paint our exterior, after which time we would like to invite you to our Grand Opening (date to be announced). Meanwhile, business is booming.
5/21/11 Now Featuring Reed Construction Co. Reed Construction Co. has placed a large consignment of a variety of hand crafted burl wood tables. When shopping, look for their business card attached to their pieces and enjoy their excellent craftsmanship. You can also query “405” to see their items on this site as soon as they are posted. Because of our move and huge simultaneous influx of new consignments, we are behind in adding all this new inventory online, but it is coming to the web store soon. Below photos show a few of their pieces.

2/1/11 Expansion Since beginning over two years ago, we have expanded four times. Thanks to our numerous loyal consignors, new inventory comes in daily, and we are again bursting at the seams. As a result, please understand we are so full we have to stack items on top of each other. We are a warehouse, not a showroom, but we will do our best to make the environment as nice as possible for you and get things down for you.
2/1/11 Upgrades in progress Exciting changes are in the works as we are in the process of upgrading our computer system to better serve our customers and consignors. Please be patient as we are working on our inventory tracking system, pricing, checkout system, and website. Because of this concentrated effort on improvements, please bear in mind that there may be some errors in our website. Much new inventory has recently come in, and we are a little behind schedule, but be assured that our website will be in sync soon.

2/1/11 Introducing our new “Self-serve Kiosk” You now can access a “Self-Serve Kiosk” by our front desk to help you independently and quickly find what you are looking for and even bypass our cashier’s desk by using this “self checkout” system.

2/1/11 Twice per month consignment pay We have also changed our consignment pay policy to batch payments on the 15th (for the previous month days 1-15) and end of each month (for the previous month days 16 to the end). Checks will be available for pickup in the shop for generally 10 days, after which time they will be mailed if not already picked up. 7/12/12 Second Location Opening in Red Bluff We have already packed out our new second location in Red Bluff (although there is always room for more) in anticipation of our Grand Opening July 20. Thank you to all our new Red Bluff consignors! More are always welcome. We have transferred many items from our Redding location, giving more space there, and these items can always be transferred back at a customer’s request.
7/12/12 New Furniture Store in Redding Consigns Two Warehouses One of our consignors, a new furniture store in Redding, asked us to clear out 2 of their warehouses. We picked up at least 14 loads of department store returns and closeouts (photos above show some items)! These beautiful “new” pieces filled much of our Red Bluff showroom plus our “tire shop” processing area (an additional 5,000 square feet)! We are still evaluating boxes upon boxes to see what goes with what. As soon as we can process and price them, we will be adding them to our website. 3/21/12 Online Auction Running! We are finally starting our online auctions, with plans to coordinate them with future live auctions. We intend to conduct weekly online auctions starting each Wednesday and ending each Sunday evening. Preview and bid on hundreds of items, all with no reserve. Therefore this may be the auction which actually gets underway. With each of our other auctions, we were ready to start at the time, but only a handful of people showed up. Please pre-register if you plan to attend, so we can give definite confirmation to all our pre-registrants that a crowd is expected. Thanks to all our faithful supporters who have shown up and encouraged us to keep trying. 5/21/11 Now Featuring Reed Construction Co. Reed Construction Co. has placed a large consignment of a variety of hand crafted burl wood tables. When shopping, look for their business card attached to their pieces and enjoy their excellent craftsmanship. You can also query “405” to see their items on this site as soon as they are posted. Because of our move and huge simultaneous influx of new consignments, we are behind in adding all this new inventory online, but it is coming to the web store soon. Below photos show a few of their pieces.

2/1/11 Expansion Since beginning over two years ago, we have expanded four times. Thanks to our numerous loyal consignors, new inventory comes in daily, and we are again bursting at the seams. As a result, please understand we are so full we have to stack items on top of each other. We are a warehouse, not a showroom, but we will do our best to make the environment as nice as possible for you and get things down for you.
2/1/11 Upgrades in progress Exciting changes are in the works as we are in the process of upgrading our computer system to better serve our customers and consignors. Please be patient as we are working on our inventory tracking system, pricing, checkout system, and website. Because of this concentrated effort on improvements, please bear in mind that there may be some errors in our website. Much new inventory has recently come in, and we are a little behind schedule, but be assured that our website will be in sync soon.
2/1/11 Consignment Tracking System To our consignors, you should have received an email from us notifying you of our efforts to go “high tech” and improve our inventory software system, while integrating it with a new, even more extensive website, where we hope to post most of our inventory, even small items, to give our customers more choices online.
2/1/11 Introducing our new “Self-serve Kiosk” You now can access a “Self-Serve Kiosk” by our front desk to help you independently and quickly find what you are looking for and even bypass our cashier’s desk by using this “self checkout” system.

2/1/11 Twice per month consignment pay We have also changed our consignment pay policy to batch payments on the 15th (for the previous month days 1-15) and end of each month (for the previous month days 16 to the end). Checks will be available for pickup in the shop for generally 10 days, after which time they will be mailed if not already picked up. See the “Consignment” section for consignor numbers with checks currently available. Please be patient with us as we implement these very important changes.
2/20/12 Lowest Price Guarantee On new items we stock, we guarantee our price is the lowest price in town! In fact, we offer 5% less than any competitor’s, if you find a shop with a lower price where the item can be verified available, based on their standard retail price. (This does not apply to “Liquidation” or “Blow-out” type sales, although this price might be matched by us at our discretion; may not be used in combination with other sales or specials.)

1/30/12 “Are all the items on your website in your store?” A customer called today asking this interesting question. At any given time, we have about 3,000 items on our website. The vast majority are available in our store, especially because we make an effort to update our inventory and sync our website daily. However, there are a few exceptions: 1) Items which just sold since our latest website sync, 2) Items in the “Coming Soon” category, 3) New items available through special order, such as some of those shown in our “Destination: Amazing Finds, Redding” video on our home page, 3) Some high value items which consignors have elected to keep off-site for security purposes (description indicates available by special request), and 4) Some accent photos shown within text, which may highlight past items which are no longer available.

1/16/12 “Low Price Match” offer On our new furniture, you can be confident our prices are the best. Therefore we offer a “Low Price Match” offer: If you find the same item for a lower price which is available, send us the information for us to verify, and we will match it. (If found online, dealer must have a rating of at least 4 out of 5 stars, and price to include shipping to Redding.) Often we do this research for you, in which case we include “Compare at $[price].” This price is usually from a well-known entity such as Amazon.com or other dealer with good reviews, price including estimated shipping.

1/16/12 Website ready for shopping! Technical difficulties have been solved, inventory and photos are now caught up, and our website is ready for you to peruse and enjoy. As always, we strive to keep it updated on a daily basis, but things sell so fast, it’s a good idea to email or call first to verify availability prior to ordering.
1/9/12 Update on website fix Technical support has succeeded in fixing our website! Now our staff has some catching up to do. Our web store should be current soon. Every day we are adding newer items and taking off sold ones, and we will let you know when we are caught up. Please double check availability before ordering.
1/5/12 Auction This Evening Our auction items and staff are ready for tonight’s auction, and you are invited to come. As long as at least 30 people show up, we will hold it as scheduled. However, we have not yet launched a major advertising campaign to announce our auctions to the public; therefore, based on past low turnout, chances are we will not have a big enough crowd tonight to begin. Thanks for your patience and for showing your interest by pre-registering.
1/5/12 Website Fix in Progress Our website has been experiencing technical difficulties, but technical support is working on it, and we hope to be current soon. In the meantime, please check before ordering to confirm availability and shop in our store to see the huge amount of inventory “Just In” which is not yet displayed on our site.
12/15/11 Attention Auction Pre-registrants – 12/15 auction The number of pre-registrants generally interested in auctions is close to 30. Therefore this may be the auction which actually gets underway. With each of our other auctions, we were ready to start at the time, but only a handful of people showed up. Please pre-register if you plan to attend, so we can give definite confirmation to all our pre-registrants that a crowd is expected. Thanks to all our faithful supporters who have shown up and encouraged us to keep trying. Please note that the “online” component of the auction is on hold until we get enough pre-registrants specifically interested in it. In the meantime, we welcome you to participate via absentee bid, if you are not able to make it in person.
12/15/11 Website not updated due to technical difficulties A lot more exciting inventory “Just In” is available than what is shown! At the same time, a lot of items shown are no longer available. We regret the inconveniences with our website not reflecting our current stock. Please check on availability before purchasing – and come in to see what’s new. We are currently evaluating a major upgrade and change to our inventory program and website, after which time our website will again be updated on a daily basis.
11/28/11 Huge Holiday Sale begins! Look for the brightly colored sale tags showing drastically reduced prices on hundreds of items. Website should reflect this sale soon.
11/28/11 Shop Kiosk available again Right across from our checkout area under the green awning in our shop, you can browse our website in the shop. The Query area and category sections will help you see whether you might have missed something in the shop, while you are still around to inspect it in person.
11/28/11 Website sync still experiencing technical difficulties So many exciting consignments have come in lately that we can’t wait to let you see them on this site. However, due to the holiday, we were unable to get our technical syncing issues resolved. Therefore recent consignments, as well as items recently purchased, are not showing. We have “SOS” emails sent in to technical support and hope to resolve the situation shortly.

Look for hot pink tags all over our shop, in every category, and enjoy the savings as we start the 2011 holidays. If you don’t see a pink tag, make an offer, because we might not have tagged it yet. Sale excludes “Just In” (items less than 30 days in shop). Pink Friday specials also apply to every category on our website, which we will be updating to match, with a special Pink Friday category (on left). 11/17/11 Next Auction Set for December 1 Thanks to all who pre-registered and/or showed up for our auction this evening. We did not get enough participants to get underway, but we are trying now for Dec. 1. Please pre-register and tell your friends!
11/11/11 Your input needed! Building Owner forcing the color brown Some rumors are going around that we might be closing, but WE ARE OPEN! Our signs have come down while our building is being painted. But we are having a battle with the owner regarding choice of colors. The owner of the building is forcibly painting our building dark brown, which is not “Amazing.” We are supposed to be fun and colorful! Please respond with your opinion on what color our building should be. Your input could persuade the owner to change his mind.
11/11/11 Auctions First and Third Thursday of Each Month Auctions are scheduled on a regular basis the first and third Thursday of each month. However, confirmation of each date is based on 30 pre-registrants for that date. The items to be auctioned are also for sale outside the auction at “Buy It Now” prices. These items are different from the rest of our inventory and usual consignments.

10/16/11 Parking Lot Sale We held a series of weekend sales recently trying to eliminate about 10,000 s.f. of storage. These items from private parties and estates are different from our regular type of inventory. Prices are very reasonable. We are working hard to set up our 10,000 s.f. basement to hold weekend sales of this type even in bad weather. Please check back for announcements of similar sales in the future.
5/30/11 New location at 3551 S. Market St., Redding, CA 96001 We have moved to a much larger, more visible location closer to the heart of Redding. This 11,000 square foot building historically housed McMahan’s Furniture as well as Furniture Warehouse and Mattress. Plans are now in the works to paint our exterior, after which time we would like to invite you to our Grand Opening (date to be announced). Meanwhile, business is booming.
